A little shy of 10:00 PM, Andy Roddick and Lleyton Hewitt walked out onto Arthur Ashe Stadium as “Welcome To The Jungle” shook the seats. In a sharp black Lacoste shirt, Andy looked very determined in the warm up. “Compete for every point,” Andy shared his strategy in his post match interview. A very successful strategy that in roughly two hours, sent him into the US Open Semi Finals with a straight set victory over Hewitt, 6-3, 7-5, 6-4.
