Andy Into The Finals

It is Andy’s second final round in as many tournaments as he defeated Tommy Haas 7-6, 6-3 in a match filled with brilliant shot making from both ends of the court.

When asked after the match how it felt to dominate the match, Andy responded, “I’m glad it looked that way! Tommy was playing very tough.”

He was also asked about his self-conversation during the heat of competition, and laughing, he said, “I only do that on the court…I’m not crazy, just animated!”

In the final round on Sunday, February 13, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. (EST), Andy will take on Cyril Saulnier of France, who defeated Jurgen Melzer in the other semifinal match.
