Hyung-taik Tough!

It took three sets, but Andy defeated Hyung-Taik Lee (6-3, 3-6, 6-2) and advances to the quarterfinals of the 2005 SAP Open where he will meet Tomas Enqvist, who defeated Robby Ginepri 6-3, 7-6.

There was only one break in the first set at 4-3, but that was all that Andy needed for 6-3. In the second set, it was Lee who got the early break that Andy did not get back and the second set went to Lee, 3-6. Andy came out smoking in the third set and it was his turn to get the early break. One more break and it was 6-2 and into the quarterfinals.

Andy will play Friday, February 11, 2005 immediately following the Andre Agassi – Jurgen Melzer match the begins at 10:00 pm (EST).

The Tennis Channel will begin live coverage starting at 1:00pm (PST) to conclusion of Day Session matches and will also air Evening Session matches live beginning at 7:00pm (PST)

Saturday, February 12
The Tennis Channel will air the doubles semifinal live following the singles match at 1:00 p.m. PST.
