The draw for the final Masters Series event of the year, in Paris Bercy has been released. World number one, Roger Federer, has withdrawn with a thigh injury, so Andy Roddick is the number one seed.
Andy has received a bye in the first round, and in the second round will face either Sargsian, or Thomas Johansson. Placed in a tough section of the draw, Gonzalez, Nalbandian, Henman and Agassi all potentially lie in Roddick’s path. In the other half of the draw, Hewitt, who is vying for the number two spot, will be staging his campaign.
Andy had much success at Paris Bercy last year, reaching the semi-finals before losing a close match to eventual champion, Tim Henman.
Andy is arriving in Paris on Sunday, and first round matches begin on Monday 1st November.
