Davis Cup 2005 Draw Announced

The official draw for all groups in the Davis Cup, was made today in Madrid. The USA as the second seed have received a home draw, where they will entertain Croatia.

The last time these two countires met, Andy Roddick was forced to sit out the tie with a wrist injury and the USA were defeated. The USA will be looking to avenge this loss and will have a good advantage being on home turf.

It will be an exciting match up though, with big servers Ancic and Ljubicic both expected to represent their country,

The first round will be played 4th - 6th March, 2005.
