Andy Easily Through To Round 2

Andy is one step closer to defending his US Open crown with a convincing win over the reigning Kalamazoo junior champion, Scoville Jenkins, 6-0, 6-2, 6-2.

In just over one hour, Andy demonstrated how much his game has grown in the few years since he was the new junior on the pro tour by blasting supersonic serves and powerful ground strokes.

He demonstrated his true champion qualities as he complimented Jenkins” game by saying we will see much more of him in the future.

Andy next faces another teenager and dangerous opponent from Spain, Rafael Nadel, with the time and court to be determined.

As first reported on AR.com, Andy showcased his new line of clothing, a geometrically-themed black, gray, and blue ensemble that he first debuted at the Stokes Park exhibition in London earlier this summer. AR.com gave you the sneek peak, now hopefully you can enjoy it for another two weeks.

Stay tuned to AR.com for the latest from NYC!
