Andy Leads Us Open Series

The TD Waterhouse Cu, the final tournament in the US Open Series, is taking place this week in Long Island.

This will be the final competition where players can earn points towards their US Open Series ranking.

Andy is currently leading the series with 155 points, followed by Andre Agassi with 123, Lleyton Hewitt with 120, and Roger Federer with 100 points. Nicolas Kiefer, who has had an incredible spring and summer, rounds out the top five with 97 points.

Only Hewitt is competing this week and therefore has the chance to earn more points, most likely boosting him to second place. Should Hewitt win and earn the same 35 points he received for winning the Legg Mason Tournament, he could tie Andy with a total of 155 points.

The top three point earners are eligible for extra prize money at the US Open. First place will earn 50% more prize money, followed by 25% for second place, and 10% for third.
