To my surprise, I just saw two things on the grounds here at the Rexall Centre: Sunshine and our own sunshine Brad Gilbert.

The sun gives hope that the morning matches will take place on time at 11 AM local time.

Meanwhile, BG arrived solo on the grounds this morning around 8:45 AM, nearly tweleve hours before his pupil’s match–maybe do a little scouting?

More interestingly, BG was carrying a Team Roddick favorite–Starbucks. I am not a regular Starbucks drinker, but that cup must have been a tall super grande!

Not that he needs any more energy. Let’s just hope it was decaf!
