What Would I Do Without Live Scoring? Go Andy!

Isn”t it just the best when Andy is winning?!?!?!
Having said that, I want to put my 2 cents in regarding my frustration with the tennis coverage on ESPN and NBC. While I appreciate very much the fact that Wimbledon is on television for much of the day, it baffles me to no end that I still have to follow Andy’s matches on live scoring instead of sitting back and watching it live on tv.
Today, after showing a nice live quarterfinal match between Mauresmo and Suarez, I was excited to have my breakfast at Wimbledon with Andy against Schalken. However, much to my surprise, what I get is the Henman-Ancic match. Now this was an entertaining match, and it proved to be a nice preview of what we all should expect on Friday when Andy plays the hard-serving young Croat, but if Andy is playing live, and the stations are covering the tennis, how can they possibly not show his match?!
Enough venting. Andy now finds himself in the semifinals of the All England Lawn and Tennis Championships for the second consecutive year. In addition, as many of you know, Andy has reached this point without losing a set, and today was the first time his match extended beyond two hours of play.
Ancic will come in as a heavy underdog, but after watching him take Tim Henman apart today, he certainly stands to be a formidable foe for Andy when they meet on Friday. It should also be known that Ancic is the only player to have taken a set from Andy in the month of June. Andy beat him 76 46 64 in the 2nd round of the Stella Artois Championships.
Andy did commit an unusually high amount of unforced errors today, and will need to tidy up his game a bit as he looks to capture his first Wimbledon, but I am expecting a solid performance on Friday, and yet another convincing win.
Congrats Andy, and good luck!
