Andy And Andre Roll In Doubles

On the opening day at the Stella Artois Championships, Andy Roddick and Andre Agassi rolled to a first round victory in doubles against Robby Ginepri and Mark Merklein 6-2, 6-2. Between them, they hit 7 aces and took just 49 minutes to see off their opponents. In the second round they will face the accomplished pairing of Wayne Arthurs and Paul Hanley. Tomorrow, Andy will open up his singles campaign against Karol Kucera.

On Sunday, Andy hit the practice courts again, this time with Davis Cup team-mate, Robby Ginepri. Andy and Robby had a good work out session and played a game of “Butts-up”. Andy, unfortunately, lost this game and had to stand with his butt to the net while Ginepri fired a serve at him. Although Ginepri’s serve bounced over Andy, Andy was still quick to point out that it hadn”t looked good from a “rear point of view”.
