On Monday in New York City, Andy did several interviews to promote The President’s Challenge. As a Member of the Presidents Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, Andy is a part of an advisory committee of volunteer citizens who advise the President through the Secretary of Health and Human Services about physical activity, fitness, and sports in America. Other Council members include Eli Manning, Mary Lou Retton, and Denise Austin among others.

Currently, the Council is endorsing The President’s Challenge. “A Healthier Nation: It’s everyone’s challenge!” The National President’s Challenge is an opportunity to get America up and moving. Everyone aged six and older is encouraged to rise to the challenge. All you have to do is be active five days a week for six out of eight weeks. It’s good for you, it’s fun, and it’s free! States compete with each other for national honors, but you can also challenge other schools, your friends at work, or just challenge yourself to get more active
