The desert in Indian Wells has definitely produced some sizzling early round match ups. In the second round of the Pacific Life Open on Sunday, Andy, seeded sixth, will face Germany’s Tommy Haas.
Andy received a bye into the second round, whereas Haas defeated Benneteau in the first round. This will be the tenth meeting between the pair. Haas has won six of their previous matches, but notably, Andy has triumphed in their three outdoor-hardcourt matches.
Haas is curently ranked 36 and has struggled at the start of 2008, having not advanced past the second round of any tournament.
