After a stunning display Thursday against World No. 2 Rafael Nadal, Andy earned a spot in the Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships. Roddick will next face third-ranked Novak Djokovic, who beat Igor Andreev 6-2, 6-1.

“It’s going to be a big challenge for both of us,” Djokovic said. “Roddick has the strongest and probably the best serve in today’s tennis.’”

Andy will be coming in strong off of arguably his biggest win in the past four years. Barclay Dubai Tennis fans are in for a treat when Andy and Novak take the court. The two have only played once before, last year at the ATP Master Series in Canada where Andy came up short 6-7 (4), 4-6. Both players are known well for their powerful shots and playful characters. It is sure to be an electric semi-final showdown.
