Playing in Round 2 at the Barclay Dubai Championships this evening, second on after 7pm, Andy will face France’s Paul-Henri Mathieu. With both players defeating their first round opponents in straight sets, the energy level and level of play on the Centre Court should be high and fierce.

Reaching high career high ranking two days ago at 14, Mathieu will be putting up a fight for the ticket into the next round. Standing just about eye-to-eye, their head-to-head just about even at one win a piece. They first met in 2005 in Montreal where the Frenchman took the “W” in straight sets, but Andy evened the score in 2007 at Wimbledon.
