Bidding for his second title in Memphis this week, Andy takes on Swedish No. 8 seed Robin Soderling in Friday’s quarterfinals.
World No. 42 Soderling is in his third quarterfinal of the season; the Swede reached the quarterfinals in Marseille where he lost to Ancic, and last week reached the final in Rotterdam where he finished runner-up to Llodra. The Swede has a 7-19 record against Top 10 players. This week he has defeated Niemeyer and Hanescu for the loss of just six games.
