Heckler A Fan

Chelsea Heckler received a special early birthday present. The day before she turned 12, she got to hang with her favorite tennis player, Andy Roddick, as the winner of the “Spend a Day with Andy” contest.

Contestants had to buy a $20 raffle ticket. (Jim McIngvale bought 100 by his lonesome.) Chelsea’s name was chosen at random.

And why does she like Andy?

“He’s a really good player,” she said. “With a really good serve.”

Chelsea knows a little bit about good tennis. Her father is Tim Heckler, the longtime USPTA president.
