Andy beat Robert Kendrick (US) of California Wednesday night in Houston at the Men’s Clay Court Championships 6-2, 6-3. Roddick will now face Jurgen Melzer of Austria this Friday night in the Quarterfinals. Andy has played Melzer just once before in the dead rubber in Davis Cup at Conneticut, this year.
