Roddick vs. The Magician

In his quest to clinch his 2nd Lyon title, Andy first faces Frenchman Fabrice Santoro. Named “The Magician” on tour for his clever shots, Santoro will undoubtedly bring his endurance and the home crowd to the featured match Wednesday evening. Ironically, the two most recently squared off in Lyon two years ago where Andy defeated Santoro in the semifinals 6-4 7-6(5). Their only other match was back in 2000 where Andy was again victorious.

This will be Andy’s first match since Team USA’s victory in Sweden last month. Team Roddick is ready for center court!
