Lyon Draw Released

Andy is back in action this week! Since the US Open Andy has helped to take Team USA to the Davis Cup final, and he has also nurtured some niggling injuries. Now however, he’s ready to return to the ATP Tour – in Lyon! Andy is seeded number one at the Grand Prix de Tennis de Lyon. He faces a tricky test in the first round, playing the “magician”, Fabrice Santoro. Lyon has a competitive draw. Last week Andy became the fifth player to qualify for the year end Masters Cup in Shanghai. In Lyon, some of the strong hopefuls, including Haas, Gasquet, Robredo and Ljubicic are all vying for the remaining three places.See the full draw here:

This will be Andy’s second trip to Lyon. He last went in 2005, where he claimed the title defeating Monfils in the final.
