MINSK, Belarus — Max Mirnyi and Vladimir Voltchkov beat Agustin Calleri and Lucas Arnold 6-3, 6-4, 6-1 Saturday to give Belarus a 3-0 lead over Argentina, clinching a berth in the Davis Cup semifinals.
Voltchkov and Mirnyi also won singles matches in straight sets Friday in the best-of-five quarterfinal.
Argentina went into the tie without the injured Guillermo Coria and David Nalbandian and had to pay the price.
Belarus, which upset 2002 champion Russia in the first round, will face the United States or Sweden in September’s semifinals
