This Week in Andy History
The week before the US Open is always filled with media appearances, meeting fans, talking to the press, oh, and a bit of practice for the US Open too! With so much happening each year, we’ll give you a reminder of how Andy spent this week last year.

Andy made appearances on Fox and Friends, ESPN2’s Cold Pizza, Entertainment Tonight, he handed out No Compromise wristbands with Lexus at Flushing Meadows, and did some radio interviews for AP Radio Network and VNR.

More time was also spent on CBS The Early Show, where Andy promoted what turned out to be a roaring success of an American Express ad – PONG! He also met with fans, hit with the Early Show weatherman, and handed out tickets for the US Open semis and final.

A few days later he did a huge Lacoste signing session in a Lacoste boutique on the corner of 49th and 5th Ave in NYC. With a DJ getting the party rolling, Andy signed autographs, posed for pictures and accepted birthday presents from the many fans who turned out in the rain to see him.

Carrying on with the sponsor appearances, Andy also took part in a Babolat event at Grand Central station where he had some pictures with Eric Babolat, founder of the brand, before hitting with City Park kids and chatting with the press.

Finally, Andy rounded off his week with his usual appearance thrilling the crowds at Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day held at Flushing Meadows the Saturday before the US Open started.

All this preparation led to a final appearance for Andy at the US Open last year, here’s hoping for one better this year!

Go, Andy!
