The Andy Roddick Youth Tennis Program

The Andy Roddick Youth Tennis Program welcomes Cleto Rodriguez Elementary School Students as the first participants in a fun, empowering and potentially life changing adventure: TENNIS!

Tennis is a sport for life! Students benefit from both the physical and mental competition, enjoy the challenges and rewards of learning a new sport, gain respect for a healthy lifestyle and the possibilities are endless. Andy Roddick started playing tennis when he was 5, and today he travels the world playing in dozens of countries. Just imagine where tennis could take you!

As part of the pilot program, all 5th Graders will be participating in the program for 1 semester as part of PE class.

K – 5th Graders can also participate in first Andy Roddick Youth Tennis After School Program from 3:15 – 5:30 PM. Led by the OLLU Education faculty, this innovative and exciting program will focus on the following:

Build on the health and wellness benefits of tennis
Nutrition – Making Healthy Choices
Social, Career and academic potential
Values for Life
Speakers Program
Mentoring Relationships

These important topics will be covered in two clinics per week - One hour playing tennis and one hour of mentoring.

Clinics begin September 10th and students will be provided with racquets.

Don’t miss the opportunity to try something new, learn valuable life lessons, become physically fit and make friends. Tennis is a sport for life and it can change yours!
