All-American Final in DC
In the final of the Legg Mason Tennis Classic, Andy will face the most talked about player on the ATP tour this week, John Isner! The match is scheduled to start at 3.00pm EST.John Isner has had a meteoric rise to fame this week. In his first ever ATP tour event, the wildcard entrant, currently ranked 416 in the world, has stunned the tennis world by reaching the final. At a staggering 6”9, Isner has taken out some big names n DC, including Henman, Monfils and Haas. Don’t expect a lot of rallies in this final. Both Andy and Isner have been firing down the aces all week. Isner has played 10 tie breaks and won 7 of them. The stakes are raised further, considering the fact Andy has not lost a tie break all week, and indeed won both of them against Karlovic in the semis.Below are Isner’s stats courtesy of the ATP:
