Four days before the world’s top players start cooking on court at the U.S. Open in Flushing Meadows, they’ll be serving a charitable feast in a food court in Manhattan.
Andy Roddick, Rafael Nadal, Tommy Haas, Daniela Hantuchova, Lleyton Hewitt, 2004 U.S. Open champ Svetlana Kuznetsova and Lisa Raymond are among the pros committed to partnering world-class chefs at the eighth annual Dacor Taste of Tennis set for Thursday, Aug. 23 from 7-10 p.m. at the W New York Hotel at 49th St. and Lexington Ave.

The event benefits the Laureus Sport For Good Foundation.

Fernando Gonzalez, Robby Ginepri, Chanda Rubin, Mario Ancic, Jonas Bjorkman, Max Mirnyi, Guillermo Canas, Shahar Peer, Dmitry Tursunov, Rennae Stubbs and Dominik Hrbaty are also scheduled to participate.
