Andy to Play Zib
After receiving a bye into round two in Washington DC, Andy will now face Thomas Zib, from the Czech Republic. The match is scheduled to start not before 7.00pm EST.This will be the first meeting between Andy and Zib, who is currently ranked at 131 in the world. Zib has only played four matches on the main ATP circuit all year, with his second victory coming over Kevin Kim in the first round of the Legg Mason Tennis Classic.Below are Zib’s stats courtesy of the ATP:

“It’s nice to go back to places you have good memories of. Fortunately, on this hard-court circuit I’ve won all of the events once and some of them twice [including the Legg Mason]. It’s nice to be able to draw on these memories. There’s no question I feel comfortable here.”
