After winning his fourteenth career title yesterday at the NASDAQ-100 Open in Key Biscayne, Andy continues to soak up the sun in Florida, beaming from his third Masters Shield and his rise to No. 2 in both the INDEST Entry Ranking system as well as the INDEST Champions Race, holding 242 points and 4800 points, respectively.
Andy is second only to Roger Federer who owns the top spot in both ranking systems.
Andy will not be going far from Miami. He will continue to enjoy the Florida sunshine and coastline as he prepares for this weekend’s Davis Cup quarterfinal against Sweden set to take place at the Delray Beach Stadium and Tennis Center, just a short drive from Andy’s Boca Raton residence.
He joins fellow teammates Bob and Mike Bryan and Mardy Fish, who replaces Robbi Ginepri for this round of competition.
ESPN 2 will televise the opening two singles matches this Friday beginning at 2 p.m. eastern time.
AR.com will also have daily updates during Davis Cup weekend so stay tuned!
