Rain Delay to Another Day
Andy had been on the grounds since 11am as he was preparing to begin his match around 2pm, being third on Centre Court, but Mother Nature had other plans.

After the first match was completed, Serena Williams and Daniella Hantuchova took to the wide-open Centre Court, only to have play delayed throughout their match four times. On their last time out, after Serena sustained a terrible cramp that hindered her from closing out the tie-breaker to end the match, she came back to win the third set 6-2, ending play for the day at 8:15pm.

The sky turned ominously dark as the clouds tumbled in and the temperature dropped to what felt like 50 degrees. As the rain commenced yet again, and with quite a fury this time, Andy headed home and is still waiting to face Frenchman Mathieu.

Stay tuned to AR.com for the new order of play for Tuesday.
