Ok, now back to answering questions from ar.com’s fans - did i always want to go into Athletic Training and how did I get to where I am today…

Well I realized while I was in High School that Athletic Training was a career that would be fun. I played alot of sports growing up and wanted to work with athletes. After looking around I ended up choosing my College (Indiana University) because it had a very good Athletic Training program. They had a great staff and did a great job of educating the students on how to become a good Athletic Trainer. Once I was in College and my Major was Athletic Training I knew that my career was going to be in Athletic Training. I of course had no idea where I would be lucky enough to have my career take me.

I got where I am today through hard work and a lot of luck. I finished my studies and then spent 3 years work as an Athletic Trainer with the Cincinnati Reds Baseball team. Then it was off to work for the ATP where I was responsible for taking care of all of the players at each tournament I worked. Then I got a great opportunity to work with Andy. I have also gotten the opportunity the last 3 and a-half years to be the Athletic Trainer for the US Davis Cup Team as well as working with Andy. You never can really predict where your life and career will take you and I have been very lucky.
