want To Improve Your Serve?

Here’s a quick tip for those of you still struggling with your serve, or perhaps just needing a boost of power.

Ever been told to “scratch your back” when working on your serve?

Well, if you’ve ever watched the professionals, you’ll notice that many (those with good service motion), never actually touch their backs with their racquet frames.

So the next time you’re on court with a basket of balls, or maybe just in your bedroom practicing your form, try this: Instead of “scratching” when your racquet is all the way back, make sure the end of the handle, where the company logo exists, is pointing straight up towards the sky.

This way, you’ll be forced to arch your back AND use your shoulder more, creating a fuller backswing than just simply “scratching your back.”

This new motion will also be more fluid, and avoid the stilted motion of the traditional “scratch your back” routine. Just another step to adding more power to your serve.
