Is There More To Your Game Than Good Strokes?
Yes, Yes, YES!!!!
Think that just because you can nail a backhand down the line, or slam your forehand across the court that you’re ready to take on the world? Not so fast!
There’s more to the game of tennis than just good strokes.
Many of you have probably lost to opponents whose strokes were far worse than your own. In fact, perfect strokes don’t guarantee success, and terrible strokes don’t make you a terrible player.
Larger issues like footwork, consistency, ball placement, and percentage play are just as important as good strokes.
So the next time you’re out hitting with a friend, running laps around the court, or even playing in a tournament, remember to focus on things like footwork and where you’re placing your balls. And if you want to improve your consistency… get out there and practice!!!
