Indian Wells: Andy vs. Lopez

Andy will take on Feliciano Lopez in the second round of TMS Indian Wells. The match is being played under the lights on primetime Saturday night. They’re scheduled to start at 7.00pm PT (7.00pm EST).

Talking before the tournament started, Andy discussed his form coming into the first Masters Event of the year,

“I was really happy about the way I played in the Czech Republic. (In San Jose and Memphis), I didn’t think I was playing that great. But you can take something positive from it. I moved up a spot and still won some matches. The biggest thing is getting ten days out here to really work on stuff.”

Andy has a 2-0 record over the Spaniard. He’s never lost a set to Lopez, but their last match was in 2004. Currently ranked 92 in the world, Lopez defeated Guccione in round one to advance to a clash with Andy.
