Guardian: Roddick glee as Hawk-Eye makes its bow at Queen’s

Hawk-Eye will be used for the first time at the Artois Championships at Queen’s in June where Spain’s Rafael Nadal, last year’s Wimbledon runner-up, as well as Andy Roddick, left, the reigning champion Lleyton Hewitt and Britain’s Andy Murray will lead the field.Screens at opposite ends of the centre court will show replays of challenged line-calls. Roddick said: “I think it’s great, I’ve always been one of its biggest supporters. I like everything about it. I think it’s great for the fans, it adds another dimension to watching it on TV and it takes some of the heat off the umpires a little bit. It’s better for me personally because it means that I spend less time whining about line calls.”
