In an exciting partnership, Rolex adds to the traditional elegance of tennis once again, this time as an international sponsor of Davis Cup by BNP Paribas. Starting with the World Group ties this weekend, Rolex will be the Official Timekeeper of the Davis Cup.
“The ITF welcomes Rolex to Davis Cup by BNP Paribas,” said ITF President Francesco Ricci Bitti. “We have long admired Rolex’s tradition of excellence and feel that they will make an outstanding partner for Davis Cup. Rolex’s confidence in Davis Cup demonstrates once again that this competition is not only one of the strongest and most attractive properties in tennis but in all of sport.”
This adds to Rolex’s existing sponsorships of the Wimbledon Championships and the Monte Carlo Maters. As a Rolex Ambassador, Andy has appeared in several campaigns for the timepiece. Andy’s testimony as stated on www.rolex.com is “Roddick’s Law: Fans will cheer if you give them something to cheer about.” Andy and Rolex will certainly give fans plenty to cheer about this weekend.
