December Fan of The Month

The last fan of the month of 2006 goes to Deanna Reeves. Deanna, who is going to Andy’s Foundation event in Boca Raton this weekend, was nominated by both Stacey Sjogren and Melissa Hatfield.

Melissa wrote,

“I would like to nominate Deanna Reeves for the fan of the month. Most of you know her as Ms. Forehand. She is the biggest Andy fan I have met. I met Deanna last year at Andy’s charity event. When I met her she had the biggest smile on her face. She was so alive! She was all dressed up for the event with her AR Charity shirt, and her no compromise wristband. Her face lighted up even more when she had the chance to return Andy’s serve. She had a blast returning Andy’s serve even though he made a funny comeback comment to the comment Deanna made to him.

When she speaks about Andy her face lights up like a kid in a candy shop. She can talk to you about every single of Andy’s match plus details on it. She has been a loyal Andy fan since the beginning of Andy’s career and she has supported him 110% through the good and bad times of his career. She has watched every single match of Andy. If she is not able to be home to watch his match she records the match so she can watch it when she can. She supports him by sitting in her living room watching him on TV, and at tournaments that she goes to.

Deanna has an “Andy wall” that is dedicated to him… in all honesty ever inch of wall is covered by a wide variety of pictures of Andy. Andy has been a true inspiration in Deanna’s life. He has inspired her to keep on playing tennis the game she loves to play. He has taught her to never give up in good or bad times. This past spring one of Deanna’s wish came true on her birthday she got a picture with Andy. It was the happiest day of her life. If you make Deanna fan of the month it will be her second happiest day of her life.”

Stacey also added to those already glowing comments,

“Deanna is such a devoted fan. She makes posters so Andy can see her support. Shes always helping other on Ar.com forums =) including myself. She even text messages me on my cell phone, to share the scores of Andy’s matches when I’m at work. Shes just an amazing person and fan. Who totally deserves this. So please pick Deanna!”
