First Win In Shanghai

Andy used a very solid serve and volley game to take down Ljubicic without losing his serve. Andy serve and volleyed on just about every first serve and half of his second serves in the match. He was extremely successful using that tactic. He won about 87% of his first serve points and over 50% of his second serve points. Ljubicic’s serve was really the only thing that kept him in the match. Hopefully Andy can keep mixing it up on his serve and have that kind of success ratio throughout the tournament. We are looking forward to another opportunity against Fed on Tuesday night!
