Andy got through his first match against Grosjean today in Madrid. Andy did not lose his serve, and looked comfortable in all of his holds. The court is playing fast, and both players were looking to get on top early in the points. Andy did a good job of making Grosjean work in pretty much all of his service games, and it paid off in the tiebreaker with Andy winning 4 points on Grosjean’s serve. Andy needs to continue to look to get to the net, as this court is difficult to play defense on.
