Tough First Day

Andy lost a tough match to Marat Safin in Moscow on Day 1 of Davis Cup. Marat played very well in the first 2 sets, but Andy did a good job of fighting and got into the match in the third set. Andy had a hard time committing to playing his style until the third set, which mainly had to do with the clay playing so slow. Hopefully, the Bryans can get a win and keep the US alive until Sunday and give James and Andy another shot.
