Monday Start vs. Serra for Andy
Andy will take on Florent Serra on the 2006 US Open’s opening day! Andy has been in New York for a week and after capturing the Cincy title, he will be ready for the battle in the Big Apple! The match is scheduled second up on Arthur Ashe stadium on Monday.Serra, who is currently ranked 44 in the world, will provide Andy’s first test at Flushing Meadows. It will be the first meeting of the two. Serra, from France, has enjoyed some success this year, winning the first tournament of the year in Adelaide, and, most recently, reaching the round of 16 in Cincinnati.
