August 2006 Fan Of The Month

We present our youngest entrant yet, 11 month old Dawson, as Augusts’s Fan of the Month.

Dawson was nominated by his proud parents, Tracy and David to be the Fan of the Month, which will make a great present for him as he turns one on the 23rd August. Here is the entry they sent in last month:

“Our son Dawson is 10 months old, he was born August 23rd 2005 (US Open time). He has been watching tennis and Andy ever since. Last week we ordered him an Andy “Rod” Duck. He loves it. When not playing with it in his baby pool or the bathtub, he carries it around in his mouth while crawling all over the house. On Saturday night in the bathtub, he said his first word “duck” in reference to his Andy “Rod” Duck. He will be watching Andy for a long time. We hope to take him to a grand slam event sometime soon.

We asked Tracy to send us in a photo of Dawson with his Andy “Rod” Duck, which she very obligingly did saying “no problem, he doesn’t go far without it”. The very adorable Dawson, who everyone at AR.com has fallen in love with, calls his duck – “Duh” “t”s and Tracy explained that “we are still working on the Rod part”. All together now – “awwwwwwww”.
