The contest is over, but Andy is just staring to heat up the courts in the US Open Series in the USA. When we asked you fans to highlight Andy’s best on and off-court qualities by creating a Superhero Andy, the creativity and illustrations came pouring in. After reading all of the entries, every one great in there own way, the two winners have been chosen.

Congratulations to AndyRoddick.com’s loyal fans Iskra B. and Amy W. for their most impressive pictures and adventures. Iskra won for creating the Best Super Andy and Amy for the Most Creative Adventure, and they’ll both be receiving a signed Andy poster.

As for their entries, Iskra hand-wrote her comic strip of 15 slides, all filled with Andy facts in superhero form fighting the battle of good versus evil. Flash A-Rod, her superhero’s name, started at a young age, battled to the top and became a hero, and defeated FeDevil to save the day and a little boy the ARFoundation helps.

Amy’s narrative adventure begins when the US Open trophy is stolen by an evil villain group, and the “good guys”- comprised of Andy, Bob and Mike Bryan, and Maria Sharapova- called “The Circuit” all had to make it to the finals to discover who took it. Each has their own suit, own names, and own special powers. Every superhero, though, has one weakness. The Acer-Andy’s unknowingly caused him to lose in the quarterfinal. This “To-Be-Continued” journey ends with the team discovering who found Acer’s weakness and how they secretly used it against him. Click HERE to read Amy’s entry.

Thank you to everyone who entered, your stories and pictures displayed that a lot of thought and effort went into them. Stay tuned for all of Super-Andy’s on and off-court triumphs throughout the USOS. Go Flash, The Acer!
