Lionel Richie To Headline 2nd ARF Charity Gala in Texas

Grammy award winning artist Lionel Richie will join tennis superstar Andy Roddick at the second annual “Charity Gala” and Auction on Tuesday, November 21st, 2006 at the Four Seasons Hotel Austin in Austin, Texas.

“I am thrilled that Lionel will be performing in Austin; he is a remarkable entertainer. With his help last year, we surpassed our fundraising expectations. It is exciting to think about how many children’s organizations will benefit from the concert in November,” said tennis champion Andy Roddick.

Andy Roddick will host the evening’s festivities that will include cocktails, an intimate dinner, and auction followed by a solo performance by Lionel Richie. Table sponsorships begin at $7,500, which includes seating for ten guests and a VIP reception with Andy Roddick and his celebrity friends. Seating in the Four Season’s Ballroom will be limited to 450 guests.

The Andy Roddick Foundation is a non for profit that strives to improve the quality of life and enhance educational and economic opportunities for all children based on the principles of respect for family, education, and morality. Founded in 2000, the Andy Roddick Foundation has raised over three million dollars for various Southern Florida and Austin based Children organizations.
