Into L.A.

We arrived last night here in LA after a very good and fun week in
Indianapolis. It was a great week with Andy playing so well. It was a little
disappointing not winning the final against James but what a great match!! Both
guy played great tennis and it was one of the best matches I have seen in a
long time. After coming so close in the singles it was a great effort for
Andy to come out and win the doubles title with Bobby Reynolds. It made for a
lot of tennis last week but with the new doubles rules(no ad scoring and a
super tie-break for the 3rd set) it makes it a little easier to play both. That
being said it was a lot of tennis for Andy last week so it was important to
make sure he was recovering well and going into this week it will be
important for him to take the next couple of days to make sure he feels fresh going
into this tournament. The hard courts can be tough on the body so these 2
days are important for the body to recover. The tournament here in LA is
always a lot of fun so we hope to be able to enjoy Southern Cal. and feel like
Andy is ready to continue playing some great tennis.
