RCA Semi-Finals: All-American Clash

In his semifinals at the RCA Championships, Andy will take on his friend and Davis Cup team mate, Robby Ginepri.

Despite a resounding 5-1 head to head in Andy’s favour, Andy will be wary of their last meeting. Ginepri claimed his only victory over Andy at Indianapolis last year on his way to the title. In fact, it was also the first time Ginepri had even taken a set off Andy. However, Andy enacted sweet revenge over Gilles Muller in his last round…will Robby be next?

En route to the semifinals, Ginepri has taken out Falla, Kunitsyn and Srichaphan.

Here are some stats on Ginepri, courtesy of the ATP:

The match is set to start at 1.00pm EST. The other semifinal show down is between number one seed, James Blake and Xavier Malisse.

Good luck Andy!
