You can book your ticket to the U.S. Open Monday morning. Individual session tickets for the 2006 U.S. Open go on sale Monday at 9 a.m. Eastern time. The season’s final Grand Slam will be held Monday, August 28th through Sunday, September 10th.
Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day presented by Hess, a full-day tennis and music festival for children and families, will take place Saturday, August 26th. Tickets for the 2006 U.S. Open and Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day can be purchased four ways:
1. U.S. Open.org
2. by calling Ticketmaster at 1-866-OPEN-TIX
3. at all Ticketmaster outlets
4. at the USTA National Tennis Center box office
The U.S. Open is expected to attract over 600,000 fans and will include more than 250 of the world’s top tennis athletes representing over 60 countries during the two-week event.
The U.S. Open will debut instant replay technology, with a player challenge system, on Arthur Ashe and Louis Armstrong Stadiums. Once a player challenges, the official replay will be provided simultaneously to the television broadcast and in-stadium video boards, allowing on-site fans and television viewers the opportunity to see the live results of a player challenge.
