Roddick next faces Thailand’s Paradorn Srichaphan in his title quest at Queen’s Club. Known for his cordial demeanor and royalty like popularity in Thailand, Srichaphan defeated both Dick Norman and Yen-Hsun Lu in three sets to reach the third round.
Of their seven previous meetings, Andy holds a favorable 6-1 advantage over Paradorn. The two have played twice before on grass, both times Andy securing the “W”. The two most recently squared off in Washington, D.C in 2005. Andy’s only loss to Bangkok’s favorite was four years ago at the Paris TMS.
