ESPN Gets Personal

In addition to expansive match coverage, ESPN will be airing a series of one-on-one interviews with Andy throughout the French Open and Wimbledon. Heavily focused on the relationship between Andy and John, the vignettes explore everything from growing up in the Roddick household to changing coaching philosophies throughout the years. “There was always something going on,” Andy touched on the hectic schedule Mrs. Roddick kept up with.

ESPN began filming in Charleston, SC where Andy gave some sincere reflections on his career. “Tennis is an individual sport but it takes a team to make the individual,” Andy explained his gratitude.
