Rome Update: Andy Doubles With Robby Ginepri

To gain even more crucial clay court practice, Andy is teaming up with fellow American, Robby Ginepri. The two are participating in the doubles event at TMS Roma.

It will be an all-but-one American affair in this first round doubles clash as Roddick/Ginepri take on the partnership of James Blake and Xavier Malisse.

This will be the second time this year that Andy and Robby have united for the doubles cause. They played together in Miami and made it to the second round before Ginepri had to withdraw.

Andy also had a shot at the doubles last year in Rome, teaming up with Jurgen Melzer. Drawing in the crowds, Andy’s popularity in Rome shone through as despite a loss, he stayed on court long enough to sign an autograph for nearly every eager fan!
