Andy Roddick has booked his berth in the quarterfinals of the Australian Open, with his victory over the Dutchman, Sjeng Schalken 6-1, 6-2, 6-3, in 79 minutes.
Andy hit 14 aces and 27 winners on route to victory, and held serve all match. Andy did not miss a single break point opportunity.
Commenting on his impressive victory, Andy stated:
“That’s probably the best I’ve hit the ball from the back of the court in a while. I served well today, that was one of the keys.”
In the quarterfinals, Andy will face Russian, Marat Safin.
