Evian Taste Of Tennis

With Andy constantly on the road, it is rare to find him in the kitchen, let alone cooking for a hundred plus guests. But at 8:00 PM this Thursday, Andy will be found trying his hand at cooking for charity. He will be in attendance at the Evian Taste of Tennis at the W New York. This is a star studded event mixing tennis players, celebrities, chefs and good food, all to benefit charity!

Joining Andy will be Andre Agassi and Svetlana Kutznetsova. Amongst the many other tennis players expected to take part are Tim Henman and Lindsay Davenport!

Can the tennis pros really serve up a gourmet meal? To help assist them will be renowned chefs including Food Network hosts Tyler Florence and Dave Lieberman as well as Marcus Samuelson from Aquavit.

The Emcee for the evening is Kit Hoover, who covers tennis for ESPN. As well as cooking, the tennis players and chefs will be participating in interviews and photo ops.

The beneficiary of the evening is City Harvest, the world’s oldest food rescue organization. Through a group of volunteers, City Harvest collects excess food from restaurants, grocers and farms etc. and then delivers free of charge to community food programs throughout NYC. The organization delivers an average of 53,000 pounds of food daily, 19.5 million pounds this year.

Tickets for the event are available by calling 877-282-7100. It is lining up to be a smashing evening, promising a Taste of Tennis and perhaps a taste of Andy’s cooking.
