Andy Loses In Singles; Wins In Doubles

Andy has lost in the second round of the Qatar Open in Doha, to Jonas Bjorkman 6-3, 6-4.

The team of Roddick/Koubek did have success in doubles! In the second round they defeated Calleri/Carraz 7-6(6), 7-5. In the next round, they will face the French team of Escude/Grosjean.

Andy’s next preparatory event for the Australian Open is next week, where he will play in the Kooyong Classic in Melbourne, Australia. Other players competing there are Federer, Agassi, Nalbandian, Grosjean, El Aynaoui, Dent and Ginepri.
